I’m an elder archer in the US, and still have the fire to win. Last year I watched indoor shooters using combination of 4 fletch, long 3 fletch vanes, and traditional feather fletching on indoor compound bows. My thoughts are to always help me with forgiving setups as holding my bow steady is a lot harder to do now than it was 30+ years ago. My thinking turned me to the Olympic recurve archers who know more about stabilizing arrow flight than anyone else in the world, and they use spin wing style vanes. I found your company’s 100mm vanes available from Lancaster Archery Supply, and tried them on my 27 size arrows, and my 23 size arrows. Both arrows immediately improved in their consistency, and they are still on my arrows today.
The ability to change vanes quickly is a great advantage, and I find they’re pretty tough. So I looked at my X10 protours, and decided to try your 40mm vanes (yes, I know you recommend a longer vane). They also work exceptionally well, and will be used in my 50 meter tournaments. Right now, I’m planning to be in Las Vegas for the indoor championship in February, ’25, and hope your team will make the trip over so we can meet. Bring a hat for me 🙂 Steve
